Meet JRC | Alphatron Marine at SMM 2024

Pressemeldungen

JRC | Alphatron Marine is once again proud to present her leading products, innovations and solutions at SMM, the leading international maritime trade fair. At this exhibition we will show a total package with professional deepsea and inland equipment.

During SMM we will present our latest innovation with regards to system integration, our modular consoles. This modular console is a unique and new bridge console concept. The main components of the console are made of lightweight aluminium. The top cover, hatches and optional sides are made of recycled ABS, primarily to save weight, but an additional benefit is that it is a sustainable product and therefore environmentally friendly. Also, the delivery time is significantly reduced because we have all parts in stock.

JRC | Alphatron Marine will showcase our motion control system, the AlphaRiverPilot MFS. This is the successor to the AlphaPilot MF that has been used by our customers on a huge number of inland vessels for many years. The AlphaRiverPilot MFS will be obtainable in two different versions, a desk mount and a flush mount version. The new control units have the same form factor as our existing MFS repeater line and are equipped with a 5-inch colour touch screen, providing a great and simple user experience. The new AlphaRiverPilot MFS is easy to install and also very accessible for updates. In addition, this river pilot can be linked to multiple devices, for example the AlphaRiverTrackPilot and compass.

Moreover, we will show our JMR-611 river radar, which sets a new benchmark in sensor technology, engineered to thrive in extreme weather conditions and adhere to future regulations. With our JMR-611 river radar you are prepared for the future. We are also very happy to show you our FiXed Piloting Unit (FPU), approved by the Panama Canal Authority. This is a new high-precision positioning system required for NeoPanamax vessels that need to pass through the Panama Canal. The FiXed Piloting Unit contains two GNSS receivers with the latest technology, provides position with centimeter precision, speed, course, turning speed, AIS and UHF receivers, all in a sturdy housing. All data is available via Wi-Fi to the pilot’s tablet and application used by Panama Canal personnel during a transit through the Panama Canal, but can also be used by the crew if required.

Discover our new JLR-41 GNSS Compass with advanced anti-jamming and spoofing technology. The JLR-41 ensures you receive high-accuracy position and heading data, all displayed on a user-friendly 6.5” touch screen. The Multi-GNSS Receiver supports multiple GNSS systems for enhanced reliability and it also provides the user rolling, pitching, turning ratio, and heading information. The JLR-41 GNSS Compass is certified as THD / GPS to meet the industry standards for performance and accuracy.

Last but not least, visitors can also get a stunning interactive VR-demonstration where you imagine yourself on the bridge. This VR-tool is useful for end-users, ship owners or project engineers from shipyards to get an extremely good insight into what their bridge might look like in reality during the design phase.

We would like to invite you to visit our stand. Join us for drinks on Wednesday the 4th of September from 16.00 – 18.00 hrs, it's a fantastic opportunity for us to connect and tell you more about what we have to offer.
