Swire Shipping Pte. Ltd. and JRC | Alphatron Marine Singapore sign mutual Frame Agreement
Today, Swire Shipping Pte. Ltd. and JRC | Alphatron Marine Singapore inked a mutual frame agreement that covers the delivery of services and spare parts for 14 of Swire Shipping's owned and operated vessels that are outfitted with the JRC Total-Watch networked navigational system.
JRC | Alphatron Marine Singapore will handle all navigation and communication hardware-related issues and maintain the operational quality of the JRC-equipped Swire Shipping vessels in close coordination with the Center of Excellence in Rotterdam.
The First Time Fix rate can be significantly increased with the use of pre-surveys and remote support thanks to the most recent JRC VDRs. Combining this with scheduled and preventative maintenance leads to lower OPEX, greater equipment availability for Swire Shipping, and increased productivity for JRC | Alphatron Marine.
Both Swire Shipping and JRC will continue to explore further areas of partnership and extension of this agreement.
