Maretron's TLM150 employs ultrasonic technology to measure gasoline fluid levels in tanks. By transmitting sound waves from the mounted TLM150 to the fluid and measuring their flight times, similar to a depth sensor, it eliminates the need for cumbersome probes that can often cause fouling or corrosion. Once the TLM150 calculates and broadcasts the fluid level over the NMEA 2000® network, tank levels can be monitored on any vessel display compatible with NMEA 2000®, such as Maretron's N2KView® vessel monitoring system or DSM570/DSM410 color graphics displays.
Capable of sensing gasoline levels in tanks up to 24" (0.61m) in depth, the TLM150 offers calibration for irregular tank shapes, ensuring accurate fluid level readings. It mounts directly to the top of tanks using the industry-standard SAE J1810 5-hole mounting pattern or can be adapted for threaded tank openings with optional adapters. Additionally, a focus tube accessory is available for boats with planing hulls, necessary if the vessel spends a significant amount of time with the bow pitched up.
Crucially, the TLM150 is NMEA 2000® certified, enabling comprehensive tank level monitoring on compatible displays across the vessel, making it an essential component of Maretron's N2KView® vessel monitoring and control system.
