Als Installation & Service Engineer ga je aan boord van schepen of je verricht werkzaamheden bij een klant op het land. De schepen waar je mee te maken krijgt, kunnen binnenvaart-, zeevaart- of visserijschepen zijn. Maar ook komt het voor dat je naar een offshore platform gaat. Natuurlijk word je eerst goed ingewerkt. Als je klaar bent met je klus bespreek je met je klant wat je hebt gedaan. Is de klant tevreden? Dan ben jij ook tevreden! Je hebt bij voorkeur al enige ervaring, maar ook zonder ervaring ben je van harte welkom. Wij leiden je graag op. Je hebt geen hoogtevrees, want het komt voor dat je op hoogte moet werken.

The primary responsibility of a Marine Service Engineer is to install, service, and repair electronic equipment on board of ships. Test, adjust, and troubleshoot components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and antennas. Utilize their knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems. They will make intelligent use of complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to accurately achieve results. Upon completing of their tasks, the technician will compose a detailed service report.

Service Engineer shall respond to customer complaints, evaluate and resolves problems for the customer; assist in installing and repairing the equipment, analyze inspect and reviews findings to determine the solution of the problem and to reach customer’s requirement.
