The argoPositionPilot is the ultimate innovative maneuvering aid for inland waterway vessels. Whether maneuvering through locks, in port, or during docking and undocking, this system makes complex steering maneuvers simple and intuitive.

With a single joystick, you can effortlessly and precisely control speed and turning rate, even during complex maneuvers. An electronic anchor function and, perhaps even more importantly, an emergency stop is no problem for the argoPositionPilot. The argoPositionPilot automatically adjusts the speed and position of the thrusters.

Operation

argoPositionPilot controls the ship’s longitudinal, lateral, and rotational speed according to the skipper’s instructions via the joystick. The speed and angle of the azimuth thrusters are controlled. This allows the ship to be steered with just one joystick—instead of multiple levers.

(argoPositionPilot is currently only available for vessels with azimuth propulsion systems.)
