The SKIPPER DL1 Multi, developed by SKIPPER, is a single-axis Doppler speed log designed to accurately measure a vessel’s Speed Through Water (STW). In addition, the system calculates distance travelled relative to the surrounding seawater.

Operating on the Doppler principle, the DL1 Multi provides real-time navigation data as it is measured. Information is presented in a clear and logical manner, allowing bridge personnel to easily interpret vessel speed and movement.
