Maretron's Fluid Pressure Monitor (FPM100) allows integration of up to six pressure transducers into the NMEA 2000® network (transducers sold separately). This enables real-time monitoring of fluid pressures and tank levels throughout the vessel, accessible via NMEA 2000® compatible displays. With suitable transducers, the FPM100 can report pressure or vacuum for various applications, including water, oil, hydraulics, and detecting clogged filters.
Additionally, the FPM100 features a tank level mode, enabling monitoring of fluid levels using a pressure transducer positioned at the tank's bottom and transmitted over the NMEA 2000® network. This is particularly useful for deep tanks, those with internal structures, or unsuitable for traditional tank-level sensing methods. Calibration for irregular tank shapes ensures accurate level readings.
NMEA 2000® certification ensures seamless integration with compatible displays across the vessel, making the FPM100 a vital component of Maretron's N2KView® vessel monitoring and control system.
WARNING
Maretron pressure transducers are not approved for use with gasoline. If you wish to use the FPM100 to monitor pressures or levels of gasoline, you must obtain a 4-20mA pressure transducer that is approved for use with gasoline.
