Features
The JLN-721 complies with the standards for speed and distance measuring equipment (SDME) as specified in IEC 61023 (2007) Ed. 3.0, which apply to ships of 50,000 GT and larger engaged in international voyages. Reliability is enhanced by support for multi-GNSS sensors (GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou/QZSS/SBAS).
The device is also equipped with anti-spoofing and anti-jamming functions*¹. To clearly display the necessary information, it also features a high-brightness display*² and a touchscreen.
MultiGNSS Sensor
The newly designed multi-GNSS sensor can simultaneously receive data from multiple GNSS constellations, including GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS. This enables highly accurate positioning without the use of beacons or SBAS, thereby improving orientation performance.
Spoofing/Jamming Detection Function
The JLN-721 is equipped with an anti-spoofing/jamming protection function*¹.
When spoofing or jamming is detected, the user is notified via icons on the screen. This helps ensure stable and reliable speed information, which contributes to the safe and secure operation of the vessel. The image on the right shows where the spoofing and jamming detection indicator is located on the screen.
Remote Maintenance System
The JLN-721 is compatible with JRC’s proprietary Remote Maintenance System (RMS), a maintenance service that enables remote diagnostics of onboard equipment status via remote access using our VDR and satellite communication equipment.

The JLN-721 complies with the IEC 61023 (2007) Ed.3 SDME speed and distance measuring equipment standard applicable to vessels of 50,000 GT and above engaged in international voyages, and meets the following IEC test standards.
